Ethiopian Cuisine
is Silver Spring's answer for authentic
Ethiopian cooking coupled with a warm, friendly
environment and excellent service. "Abol"
in Ethiopian means "original, first and
authentic," which is exactly what our customers
will find.
Ethiopia is a fascinating
land with culinary delicacies complex and
rich as its culture which are gaining worldwide
recognition. Locally, while having only
one Ethiopian restaurant was satisfactory
in the past, there had been a growing demand
for the fine food, service and convenience.
Because of this, the idea of Abol
Ethiopian Cuisine was conceived three years
ago. With detailed research and preparedness,
it has become a reality November 1, 2007
The challenges of establishing
Abol Ethiopian Cuisine at a convenient location
has been met, and the public can find us
in downtown Silver Spring at the intersection
of Collsville and Fenton in front of the
American Silver Theater across the Silver
Spring Mall. There is plenty of parking
at the back of our restaurant, which has
entrances on the Georgia Avenue and
Fenton Street sides (click to see map).
Parking is free after 6:00 p.m.
As part of Abol Ethiopian Cuisine's commitment
to service, commuters and others can place
their orders by phone or e-mail and pick-up
their meal on their way. Our research has
shown those passing through Silver Spring
to northern Montgomery County will find
this a great benefit.
