The
ELPROM-ELHOVO factory was established in 1966 as a major producer
in Bulgaria of electronic components for passenger cars, fork-lift
trucks, agricultural machines, etc. The factory's main products
were designed mainly for primary building-in at the AVTO-VAZ Plants
in Togliatti - Russia, but they have also successfully marketed
in more than 15 countries.
The ignition coils, solenoid switches, variousrelays, etc., bearing
the ELPROM-ELHOVO brand, are well known for their good quality,
reliability and modern design.
In1998 the factory was privatized.
